In June we gave Eko hands, it could finally update stock, create payment links and recover carts instead of just telling you about them.
But it had a blind spot, and merchants found it fast:
If your product came in sizes or colours, Eko was reading the total and quoting it like a single number. Today that's fixed, and Eko went a lot further than just reading them correctly.
It Finally Understands Options
Every option combination on your product — Small, Large, Red, Blue — carries its own price and its own stock. Eko now reads them individually and edits them individually:
You: How many Large ones are left?
Eko: 3 Large, 11 Medium, 0 Small. The Small has been out since Tuesday.
You: We only have 4 Large now
Eko: ✓ Done — Large is now 4 (was 3). Total across all sizes: 18. (Undo)
And it can now change which options exist, not just their numbers:
- Add a size — "Add an XL, 5 in stock"
- Add a whole new option — "Also do this one in Red and Blue"
- Rename — "Change Lrg to Large"
- Remove — "Drop the XL, we're not restocking it"
Ask for a second option group and Eko splits every existing size across the new colours, keeping the stock you already had where it belongs. Products can carry up to two option groups - Size and Colour, Flavour and Weight — the same as the product editor.
If you ask it to set stock on a product that has options, it won't guess. It tells you which option to name.
Wholesale Pricing, Without the Form
If you sell in bulk, you can now set your quantity breaks by saying them out loud:
You: Give a wholesale price of GH₵8 each from 12 pieces, and GH₵6 from 50
Eko: Here's the bulk pricing for Cotton Tote — 12+ at GH₵8.00 each, 50+ at GH₵6.00 each. Confirm to apply?
Eko reads your existing breaks before it changes anything, so "add a 50-piece price" adds one instead of wiping the one you already had. And if a bulk price you asked for isn't actually cheaper than your normal price, it says so on the card before you confirm.
One Message, Fifty Products
The most-requested thing since June: stop making me do it one at a time.
You: Take 20% off everything in Dresses
Eko: That's 14 products. Ankara Midi GH₵180 → GH₵144, Wrap Dress GH₵220 → GH₵176… Confirm to apply to all 14?
You: Mark all of yesterday's orders as dispatched
Eko: 9 orders. 7 customers will be emailed. Confirm?
One card, real before-and-after numbers, one Undo that reverses the whole batch. Eko changes at most 50 products or orders in a single action, so a misread request can't run away with your catalogue.
Ask How You're Actually Doing
Eko always knew today and this month. It couldn't compare them. Now it can compare any period against the one before it:
- "How does this month compare to last month?"
- "Which products are selling less than they were?"
- "What's my conversion rate over the last 90 days?"
- "Where are my customers ordering from?"
- "Which traffic sources actually bring revenue?"
That last group matters most. Eko will name the product whose sales dropped and by how much — not just list your bestsellers.
This part is on every paid plan, not just Business+. Asking questions was always included, and these are questions.
It Can Create Things Now
Eko could change what existed. It couldn't make anything new. Now:
- Products — "Add a black tote bag, GH₵80, 15 in stock, in Bags" — options and bulk pricing included if you want them
- Flash deals — "Run 15% off these three for 6 hours", countdown and all
- Special offers — "Advertise a free tote on orders over GH₵200"
One honest limit: Eko can't add photos. It creates the product, gives you the link, and tells you to add the images yourself in the dashboard. We'd rather it said that plainly than quietly published something bare to your storefront.
Undo Got Braver
In June, only the instant changes had an Undo button. Confirmed actions — a discount you created, an order batch you dispatched — were final once you tapped Confirm.
Now most of them can be undone too. Created a discount code by mistake? Undo. Marked the wrong batch of orders delivered? Undo, and every order goes back to the status it had.
Two places we tell you the truth instead of pretending:
- Emails already sent stay sent. Undoing a dispatch puts the order back, but your customer already got the notification.
- Removing an option that has already sold unlinks it from those past order records, and undo can't restore that link. Eko warns you on the card, tells you how many orders are affected, and suggests setting its stock to 0 instead — which is usually what you actually wanted.
What's On Your Plan
Business — answers, and they got sharper. Everything Eko always did, plus the new period comparisons and breakdowns, plus correct per-option stock instead of a misleading total. If you sell in sizes, Eko stopped giving you wrong numbers today regardless of your plan.
Business+ — answers plus actions. Everything above, plus every action in this post: options and variants, wholesale pricing, bulk edits, new products, flash deals, special offers, and everything from June.
Ask Eko to do something on Business and it'll walk you through doing it yourself, then point you at the upgrade if you'd rather it handled it.
Try It Now
Open Ask Eko in your dashboard or the Strawlo app and try:
- "Which sizes am I out of?"
- "Add an XL to the linen shirt, 6 in stock"
- "Give a bulk price of GH₵8 each from 12 pieces"
- "How does this month compare to last month?"
- "Which products are selling less than they were?"
All of it works on the web dashboard and in the iOS app.
Eko's answers are included with every Strawlo plan. Eko actions are a Business+ exclusive — upgrade here.
